IDC Instructor Gabi Hamlin begins her fifth season teaching for the IDC. This season, Gabi will be teaching Pre-Ballet, Beginning Tap, Dance Team, intermediate Jazz/Contemporary, and Intermediate Hip Hop. Her classes combine technical training with creative studies, making her an engaging and popular IDC instructor. Her favorite thing about teaching is creating a fun and educational environment where students can learn to love dance.
Gabi “grew up” dancing as a student at the Inspiration Dance Company from age 3 – 17, training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Partnering and Hip Hop. She is currently in her fourth year of study, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance at Western Oregon University. While at WOU, Gabi has performed in works by Anjali Austin and as a guest performer with Rainbow Dance Theatre.
